Post-Bac Premed Current Class Profile
Current Class
There are 34 students in the Class of 2026-2027, represented by 23 different undergraduate majors, with the most popular being economics, followed by psychology, finance, global studies, and classics. The average age is 26, and students have degrees from 24 different colleges. Nine post-bacs have graduate degrees, in fields ranging from divinity to special education to public policy, from institutions including Wake Forest, Yale, and the University of Maryland.
As in previous years, our students bring robust and diverse experiences to the post-bac
program. Many of our students have worked in public service, both in the U.S. and
abroad, with organizations like Teach for America and the Peace Corps. Others come
from consulting, harm reduction, or software engineering backgrounds. With careers
ranging from hospital chaplain to lawyer, and from clinical research coordinator to
journalist, our students enrich one another with their perspectives and backgrounds.
We are also proud to have first-generation Americans and first-generation college
attendees represented in our cohort.
